moving to cascais?

I guess this has probably been addressed in previous forums but I'm new to this site and very eager to move to Portugal later this year :)
I was born in Portugal, moved out when I was little. I live in USA now, have 2 small kids and I need to have a good international school close by. I also want a city with a good vibe where I can make friends and have lots to do -I guess having the kids in an internatioal school will help to connect with people like me ;)- I've heard that Cascais is getting too expensive so if you have any other suggestion, let me know! But if you think I definitely should go to Cascais, then I'll start looking at it seriously -I already found the school - St Julian's-
Thanks for any tip!

Renting or buying ?
Go to OLX.PT for both
Can compare all area prices
I'm dreaming of at least trying to do 6 months a year there.
Setubal looks nice and cheap too, might be too far to drive to your school, is south over the bridge.

To Caromr

It is true that Cascais has become very expensive, but then again, what is your budget ? It all comes down to expectations, supply and demand....etc.

Hello,

You are leaving the USA for Portugal? are you out of your mind? your children will never have the opportunities in Portugal that they currently have in the US. Portugal has become the land of retirees; expats over 60 like to live there. There is 0 opportunities for the youth; hence, the reason the embassies are full of youth trying to get out of Portugal.

I couldn't agree more with mariaorr.

Make a trip to PT and try to find a job...any job. Then think again.
