I'll be based soon in Doha. As I'm single, I would like to know if (and how) I can have visit VISA for relatives or family and for how long.

Hi,

All your guests that want to visit you can just go to Qatar and buy their visa on the airport. About 50 Qatari riyal. ( athird in us dollar).
This is valid for 2 weeks and must be extended by paying another QR50 .

When they enter the airport go to the left and go to the Bank first to change your money into Qatar Ryals. You will need 50 for each person for a Visitors Visa. Then go left again and have the Visa proceesed, tehn get in line to enter the Visa line off to the right in the terminal. Good enough for 2 weeks but if you are staying 3 weeks then put it down and they usually process it anyway for the same price
