Hello, If you need a temporary place while you search for a more permanent place, I suggest you join the travel group, Couchsurfers. We have three million members worldwide and there are some in Doha. It is free to join and you never pay anything to anybody. - Pay nothing to join and no dues. Just go to http://www.couchsurfing.org/ and join us. Blessings, Ben & Frieda Sessions Huffman,Texas

have you tried couchsurfing.com? I don't know how long people will let you stay, but there are a lot of expats over here (myself included) who's employers pay their housing and they have an extra room. it's worth a shot. I could have you stay for a week or two, but 4 months is a long time.
Best of luck to you.

I struggled for 2 months and than made a yearly contract with Ezdan in WetBay Area. You can have a studio on 8600 Riyals, A room wihout kitchen and laundry can be available on either 4000 or 5000 QAR per month. They will give you 1000 discount if you make yearly contract. Gym, Pool and Car parking is free.
