It seems that private health insurance is a requirement for a long term visa.
Has anyone gotten insurance with a local Rmanian company? I'd much prefer to have an in person relationship with an insurance company, rather than on the phone or online.

Have either of you to heard anything else about this subject? We are looking to move and get a long-term visa… And the best thing I've found so far is CIGNA ex-pat insurance. It covers you both in Romania and in America
