Hello all.
I'm looking into the logistics of moving to Russia. Although I love the UK, my gf is Russian and wants to stay in St Pete's. Fortunately I like St Petersburg and will be happy to live there more permanantly.
I am however, finding the whole process a little difficult to find out about, so all help will be apprecieted.
Can anyone help me with advice on what I need regarding Visa's? Also, does anyone know about the Tax implications? ie. do I need to pay UK and Russian tax? Also, I have a few buy to let mortgages in the UK. Any ideas on what happens to their rates/being able to remortgage when the fixed term ends?
Like I said, any help will be apprecieted...Cheers.

Hi Ian, Re:locate Magazine has a feature on relocation to Russia (from a UK perspective). It will be hitting desks on 3rd July 2009.

You should also be able to access the articles on the Relocate Magazine website that week (do a Google search for Relocate Magazine)).
