For many newcomers and those considering living in Russia, access to quality medical care is a top priority. Please help those moving to your area by posting your experiences with the local health care system. Also, include any information about health insurance in Russia. Be sure to post the name of your city, region or town.

Hi,

You can ask a quote for your health insurance (as an expat or a simple traveller) on Mondassur website. It's free and you are absolutely sure to have an offer tailored to your needs and budget.

Healthcare in Russia is a vast topic, but from my experience with expats, you have better have a private insurance there to have the choice of hospitals (expecially English-speaking and private) and not having to be on waiting lists to receive treatments as this is often the case in Russian public hospitals and medical centers.

For more information, see you on Mondassur ;)
