Being a single, Canadian male, I''m also wondering if there are ''sections'' within compounds for ''non-family types''. How about single or shared accomodations? Are there 1 bdrm apartments available or must everyone share multi-room suites? Can anyone recommend a particular compound and why? Any replies would be appreciated. " I''m leaving for Riyadh tomorrow (Sunday!). I did discuss the accomodation situation with my employer. I can either receive an allowance (as you say) or have the employer provide accomodation. I''ll be working for Riyad Bank, by the way. Initially, they confirmed that I will be setup in a 2-bdrm with no partner. I don''t know where or any other details.
