" My father worked in Dharhan in 1980-81 and supposedly part of his compensation was a levy into a government pension plan. He beleived he is entitled to receive a lump sum payout after the age of 62. Unfortunately, my father''s command of the details of this arrangement is poor and I would appreciate any assistance available in collecting any sums due. "

" Your father paid into something called GOSI (Government Organization for Social Insurance). In the late 80''s the Saudi government discontinued GOSI for foreign workers and began repaying employees who had contributed. If the company he worked for is still in business, start by contacting them for assistance. If not, contact the Saudi embassy in Washington to try to find out how to go about getting a refund. Good luck. Dave "
