" hi. we are currently living in aramco. before sept. we lived in al khobar for 2 years. i feel very safe here. the saudi''s, especially the ones inside aramco have been extremely kind and have even gone out of their way to tell me they are sorry for what happened on sept. 11. there was a car bomb in al khobar in oct. but, no one knows if it is related to sept. 11 or if it is related to illegal drug or alcohol trafficking. there were some car bombs last year as well. i don''t know how to say it without sounding callous. but, we continue our lives just as one does in the states every time they turn on the news and hear about a drive by shooting or some other crime. i love it here. when my husband''s contract with his former company was over we planned on returning to the states but i wanted to stay. so, he looked around and found a great job with aramco. aramco is a great place to work and a great place to live. i sure hope you consider it, you won''t regret it. "
