Where are you living here in Riyadh? We live at Arizona Golf Resort. As the name suggests it is a compound whose main source of socialization is golf. Non residents are welcome to play as well as join in any golfing events. As for all the other places for socialization, well, it's mostly a word of mouth thing. There are many associations that can hook you up with theater groupls and that sort of thing. The best thing to do is speak to people. Most expats are VERY willing to help out the "newcomers".
