There was a letter to the editor in the Arab News back in the late 1980's (between 1986-1990 I think) with a reference to educational TV programming in Saudi. It was signed L. Lovelace. If you where there you would surly know about this. I am looking for someone who might have kept a copy.

I was there when that letter to the editor appeared. It was, indeed, memorable--and so clever in outsmarting the censors.

I almost certainly have a copy, but it would be in storage and inaccessable at present. I won't be taking possession of our stored household goods for at least another year and probably not for two years.

Sorry, but thanks for reminding me of something so amusing.
