novelist needs information about life in Riyadh!

Hi everyone,
I found this site while doing research on Riyadh over Google.

I am a writer/novelist, and I am writing a portion of a novel that takes place in Riyadh.
I have many questions, so I was hoping some kind soul could help me with the following things:
1. Would anyone be willing -- a Westerner living in Riyadh -- to be interviewed by me about life there, over e-mail?
2. Are there any expat forums about expat life in Saudi Arabia that are better attended than this one?
3. Is there any reading material that any of you would recommend -- fiction or non-fiction, that paints a picture of everyday life for expats in Saudi Arabia?

I'd love to travel to Riyadh myself, but funds are lacking, sadly. Many thanks to anyone who replies with info!
