Working Women

I am a grad student working on a project. We are putting together a group of three candidates for a job opportunity with Coca Cola in Riyadh. One of the candidates for the management position is a highly qualified female US citizen. Her nationality is Lebanese, but she was born and raised in the US>

I am looking for any insight on working in Saudi Arabia. I would also like to know if a plant management job can be held by a woman in Riyadh.

Thank you for your input!

Bethinks,

It is now possible for a woman to work in Saudi, things have changed a great deal in the last 10 years.

I don't know of any woman in Saudi, though, managing men.

The real answer is that she would be allowed to work in Saudi, but you would really need to check it out with the senior leaders in Coca Cola to ensure they believe it would work. If it were a non-people management position such as an auditor, or finance, perhaps it could work.

Her language skills would be a great asset if she speaks Arabic.
