I was just giving a job to work in Dammam, the company is arranging my living right now and looking for a compound for me to live in. Not sure if it will be in AL Khobar or Dammam. The plant is in Dammam. I am new and never have traveled to Saudi Arabia before. My main concern is safety as Im sure it is for many. My family will stay behind in the States. How are Americans viewed? Im very open minded, do not drink and give respect to others. The salary was to good to pass up and with 2 in college I must take it. All I will take is my clothes, medications and laptop which that will have all my books and music I need. Is there any pointers anyone can give? Do's and Dont's.

One more thing, I am a serious fisherman. Being from South Louisiana its all we do.
