Coming to Scotland need a place to rent

Hi,

I'm moving to Scotland. I'm searching for work from the US, but I want to look in person. I need to rent affordable rooms or tiny flats for a few months at time, is that something that is possible? I can't really find anything online? Is there any other out of the box suggestions for living on the cheap?

Thanks!

Hi Tazma,

Flats in Scotland are rented for a minimum period of 6 months (legal term is Short Assured Tenancy). Look at sites such as S1Rental.com

To rent a room only, try looking at GumTree.

If you are looking for work then you will have to apply for a work permit.

Good luck!
