With summer break fast approaching, moms and dads often begin to worry, "What will I do with the kids all summer?" How do kids in your part of Singapore spend the summer? What activities, camps, excursions would you recommend to other parents? Please post your suggestions and contact information for specific camps/activities. This information will be extremely helpful for other parents - especially those parents who are just moving to Singapore this summer.

I mentioned it elsewhere on this forum: Malaysia, especially its east Coast, is ideal for summer camp-type activities, sailing, jungle trekking etc.

The Mersing to Tanjung Resang stretch is only a few hour drive away and lends iself perfectly for group excursions, like snorkeling, stand up paddling, kayaking, or going on exploring expeditions to the many little paradise islands just off the coast.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post URLs (Adminee, can you tell me?) but there's an outfit just north of Mersing, run by Singaporeans and Europeans, that arrange for such summer activities.
