Hi,

That is a difficult question everything depends on a few thinks like: your budget, where is your job, if you have children what do you like to do. There are a lot of information on the internet. People here use to take an agent, if you know what you want in just a few they can find you something good. You also can check some websites like guru, and easy roommate if you want to share.. Good luck!!

I agree with Lavandula, it depends on a lot of factors. Do you want a place near your work, near your children's school, or just a quiet place, etc?
If you're unsure about your relocation and need help, there are a few expat service company offering a variety of services like sourcing your accommodation, finding school for your kids, settling down your admin work, finding maid, etc.
Do PM me if you need any recommendations!

Cheers,
Jason

Hi,

In general before you can start with any home search, it is always good to pen down what are your requirements and rank them so that you will not regret your decisions later.

Things to consider:
1. near children school
2. near office
3. near MRT (subway system)
4. near shopping or amenities
5. size and age of home (this directly affects your rental)

In general the above are the basic consideration when coming over. Hope this helps.
