I agree with Lavandula, it depends on a lot of factors. Do you want a place near your work, near your children's school, or just a quiet place, etc?

Hi,

In general before you can start with any home search, it is always good to pen down what are your requirements and rank them so that you will not regret your decisions later.

Things to consider:
1. near children school
2. near office
3. near MRT (subway system)
4. near shopping or amenities
5. size and age of home (this directly affects your rental)

In general the above are the basic consideration when coming over. Hope this helps.
