INFO ON LIVING IN SLOVENIA

Hello everyone!

My name is Gary, and I am a Canadian citizen interested in moving to Slovenia. I came through as a backpacker this summer, intending to spend three days... I spent three weeks! I absolutely loved Slovenia and Ljubljana in particular. It's like the perfect city...
There is not much info available on the web, so I am hoping that someone may be able to point me in the right direction. I am looking for info on the difficulties of opening a business as a foreigner, (or working, to start...) I am a barman/manager with many years in hotels, clubs, and restaurants; may be looking to open something along these lines, although I have many business ideas. Are there any resources for someone like me? Websites, maybe the Chamber of Commerce or some other avenue that I have not considered? I am returning to Slovenia in September to check things out, and am trying to lay a little groundwork before I arrive. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hvala!
Gary Carlson

hi
I believe, that i am a little late, but i think, that the most precious side of our county- Slovenia is sea side. there you can find a lot of immigrants mixed with local people.
there is the biggest oppurtunity for tourism to ... check some most interesting cities for an example Portorož, Piran, Lucija ...
