I am not sure where to begin. We were considering the Bethlehem area of SA. Forgive my ignorance. I have only been to the US and EU so have no experience with SA other than my recent home search. I see that american dollars are worth much more there and that we could live an improved life in SA.

What is the climate?

I needed to know what benefits there are of being a citizen of SA and what those requirements were to become one.

If we are not citizens and live there, what additional fees will we have?

Also what additional fees are incurred when purchasing property?

How long do we have to reside in the country to be a citizen? What taxes must we pay? Does SA have national healthcare?

Is English a primary language< I need to know about health insurance, schools, employment etc etc. We are ready to buy and have found several wonderful farms and homes that we are interested in, but are somewhat afraid of the unknown.

We have 4 children and 3 dogs that we would be shipping as well. I know, a lot of questions. Please reply ASAP. Thank you
