I am a UK citizen and considering moving to SA for a year to be with my boyfriend (if this is feasible)! He is not a SA citizen and will be there studying for a year. I currently work for the National Health Service as a Communications Manager (PR/Marketing/Press Office) and was wondering what the chances are of my skills being transferred to an SA workplace...also where do i begin to look for possible jobs? I will also be staying in Port Elizabeth, will this have a huge impact on the jobs I can get? Sorry for 20 questions but what are the recruitment agencies (temping agencies) like for general admin work which i could possibly do for a year? As you can see i need help so anything would be appreciated!

Hi
There are a few websites you could have a look at. www.careerjunction.co.za; www.careers24.com; www.bestjobs.co.za.
There would also be local agencies within Port Elizabeth. Unfortunately PE is not a huge hub of activity like Jhb, but I am sure you will find something fairly suitable for a year.
Best of luck.
