Hello everyone, my name is Charlotte! I'm looking for men and women who want to share their real love story with me. I am busy with a project "All you need is love"" about true love stories between South African citizens and their man or woman from another country. They can come from any country but must have found love in South Africa or immigrated. So if you have a funny, romantic or sad love story to tell, please contact me!!

I would love to share my story with you. It is quite a remarkable one, which I am hoping ends the same way it began. However, the story begins in Washington D.C. I, the american, falls madly in love with him, the South African. he was 19 and I was 16. He had to return home for military or police duty in 1989, long before Apartheid ended. He was the love of my life. Because of age and the government at that time we were unable to meet again. Fast forward 20 years, my beloved south african finds me with the wonderful help of the internet. We have met several times and our love for each other is stronger than ever. I knew many yrs ago he was my soul mate and it has only been reaffirmed the past 2 yrs. The problem I have 2 children, 14 and 15. They are the loves of my life. I want them to move to South Africa but their father who is never home to take care of them does not want them to go. My heart is broken. I have not seen "Bill" in 8 months and am dying without him. Its a long love story, many have told me to write a book. I would love to share more if you are interested. And any much need advice on how to bring two soulmates together forever.

Hello my name is Zola from America, in 1975, I met a handsome young man from Germany. I was 20 and he was 19. I was in the military and he was born a war baby who lives in Germany. I am 57 1/2 now, and he found me on facebook. Here it is about 38 years later and I still have feeling for him. We have not connected yet, but I hope by 2013 - we can share our life together in South Africa. I know you said; one of us should be an SF citizen, but how about a love stories - us meeting again and living in SF. Hopeful Thinking.

I am 25 yr old female leaving in Australia madly in love with my 29 yr old bf who lives in Joburg. We have known each other since I was about 3 yrs old. I was born in Zambia but raised in Swaziland/South Africa/Australia (my family travels a lot) …. Our parents met when we moved to Swaziland from Zambia & they worked together at a hospital & they became friends so my brother & i became friends with him. He was my very first crush but unfortunately as we grew older and went to different schools & we lost touch. Then over 12 yrs later in 2010 I found him on facebook & we began talking & just catching up. It was such an amazing joy to find him & I remember telling him that I had a huge crush on him back in the day which he was so delighted to hear. After that we started chatting every couple of days then it turned into every day then turned into a couple of times a day. We have been in a long distance relationship for 2 yrs now & I have flown back & forth 3 times. It is very difficult but we soldier on. We fight, we fuss, we worry, we are scared but we love each other very much & are determined to make it. I am currently preparing to move back to the motherland next year July and im currently looking for a job in Joburg & we want to get married & start a family & a life together. His family is great & they are very supportive of our relationship & plans. Long distance relationships are VERY hard but with God’s grace i hope we can make it.
