Hi
Hoping someone can help..
My husband and I are moving back to South Africa at the end of the year.
We are shipping our things back by shared container. Does anyone know whether toiletries and cleaning products are allowed to be shipped and how much reasonable quantities are? As these are so inexpensive here i would like to stock up and take them with... but every moving company has something different to say about the issue and its really confusing. Some say everything is ok except flammable products and aerosols. Others say no liquids, others say non of these kinds of items at all.
Can anyone help please???

No aerosols, flammables, corrosive or poisonous items. Other liquids ok BUT with all the handling going on would you want to risk damage and leakage over other items and through cartons? With the Rand at an all time low it actually may not be cheaper when you convert at around R24. 00 to the UK Pound !
