" My wife and I have decided to move to (probably) the Denia/Javea area of Spain fairly soon. We are in our mid fourties and want a semi retired lifestyle. We will have a small income of £10k pa from investments and as a builder/carpenter of 30 years, would hope to suppliment this with working for the older expats perhaps doing some odd repairs. We would be buying our house cash and also wondered if there is a market for buying older properties and doing them up to resell at a small profit(enough to call a living). Does any of the above seem to be unrealistic?. We would really be greatful for any advice from any quarter. Many thanks in advance for any help you may offer. "

Hi Mark We deal in property in Andalucia. The property there is cheaper than in the areas you are looking at and there are a lot in need of renovation. You can certainly make a reasonable profit in this line of business.
