" hello all: I just turned in my paperwork for my visa and residency permit to the Span consulate in DC, however they were vague about how long it would take and how they would contact me; has anyone gone through the process? If so, how long did it take you to get your papers and how did they inform you. Thanks, Robert Lane lanedogg@excite.es "

" Robert, I have have been submitting papers for over 6 months. 2 months ago I originals (or certified copies)and 3 copies of copies of each. I was told all they wanted was 1 copy of each doc. Last week I was told that copies were not acceptable and that they must have the originals. So, at this point I am exactly where I was 2 months ago. As far as the time required to process, 2 months ago I was told ""a couple weeks"". Jeff Kosmo "
