My vans MOT has run out and we are in the south of Spain. Does anyone know if there is anything we can do here or do we have to go home?

It's not that simple and you need to provide more info/background to get relevant responses. Otherwise, some people may well respond based on assumptions that are incorrect.

Has your vehicle been in Spain for more than 60 days?

Where is it insured? If it is insured back in the UK, no doubt the insurance requires that it be MOT'd for the insurance to be valid if it is insured in the UK.

Are you planning to stay in Spain? ie. become legally resident?

Your circumstances can change the answer to your question entirely.
