"As much information as possible"

Don't be silly. No one is going to write a book for you. LOL

Getting serious, have you considered the implications of Brexit SylviaJohn?

No one can tell you what the outcome will be in terms of what you will have to do to stay or even if you will be allowed to stay after the negotiations are completed.

It is quite likely that you will need to meet the same requirements and get the same visas as current non-EU retirees have to do. But no one really knows and no one will know until the dust settles after the exit is completed.

Do you realize that your UK pension may be frozen? There is no guarantee that you will continue to get yearly uplifts on it.

The typical UK expat in Spain today also relies on the NHS and the reciprocal agreements within the EU for their healthcare coverage. That's definitely going to disappear I would say. They will have to pay in to the Spanish healthcare system assuming they are allowed to do so.

For a Brit to move to an EU country today is a serious gamble.

So those are the 3 big questions for a Brit looking at retiring in Spain today.

1. What will my status be 2 years or so from now.
2. Will my pension be frozen with no more 2.5% uplifts?
3. What will healthcare cost me?

Probably best to assume you will need get a non-lucrative non-EU visa. Don't know about your UK pensions since we are from USA.

SylviaJohn, you are much more likely to get responses if you ask specific questions. Also, there is an incredible amount of information in the archives of Expat Exchange. You can use various search terms to pull up lots of information. There are also lots of books on Amazon that you might want to look at. Most people are not going to want to do all your research for you. Most everyone, however, won't mind answering specific questions. Buena Suerte!
