I will be near Marbella April 18-27 and would love to meet a new expat friend. I am exploring Spain to see if it is a fit for my retirement. If anyone in the area wants to share information, please invite me as a friend. Have a fantastic day in paradise! Leila

I would be interested in exchanging information. My wife and I are visiting CR in April, primarily looking in the Del Coco area, North Pacific.
Our last visit was to Spain, we found our target area in and around Estepona. This is a great place to start as it is big enough to support your initial needs and close to everything you might want to visit on an initial trip. It does have a good number of Expats, which will be a must during the first year.

I have not been to spain yet and just reading up on good locations to retire. I am interested in learning more about the Pacific coast but have to keep this trip short and will only make it to the Costa del sol area. Also exploring Costa Rica later this year. I will be goong to the Atlanta IL conference at the beginning of May after I return from Spain. Anxious to find a home. Leila

Spain is a lovely place to live and retire and not expensive.
I am moving to Bahamas to the out islands and it is not expensive if you buy land and build and plan to build a small house for a start.
Weather in Andalusia/Malaga is warmer if you are looking for a change.

Good Luck, stay in touch, hope to see you at the conference in ATL. be safe.
By the way my wife drove for the 3 weeks we were in Spain, visiting the Valencia then driving down to Malaga, she was a pro, no issues navigating the roadways in Spain.
