High Schools

Hello Everyone, Our family is moving from Canada to Spain for a sabbatical year and we're looking for a high school for our 14 year old twins and a school for our 10 year old. We don't want to put them in an international school and are looking for either Bilingual schools (if they exist!) or the possibility of throwing them in a public school and supplementing their education with online home-schooling courses. This means we might have to pull them out early every day so not sure if that's acceptable in the school system. We were thinking of Grenada but the schooling will be a huge influence on our decision. If anyone has any thoughts/tips/experience that might help guide us we would be so very grateful to hear from you.

Hi,

I am Carla from Spain. I recently graduated from University and I went to a British School in Spain (Valencia). I would recommend a British or American School in Spain because all kids will be Spanish (therefore yours will be speaking Spanish all day) yet they will probably follow a British Curriculum and thus it may be easier for future transitions from one school to another.

And the best part, you would live by the beach! ;)
