Hi Ras,

My husband and I are a Singaporean couple living in Colombo (he's being posted here for work). I've been here since Feb 2004, and I've trouble finding a good maid.

My first maid (whom I found myself) was horrible, dishonest and unhygenic. My second maid (current, from a maid agency) is always not returning home from her off days! And it has happened so many times. Now, we're thinking of replacing her, but don't know where to look. I'm not going back to the agency, because they've been very rude, and not at all helpful.

Do you know of anyone whom I can contact? I need a stay-in, experienced, english speaking maid. I've no children, just a dog (whom I love dearly).
