Friends,

I have been made a job offer which involves relocating to Colombo from India. While the salary is pretty good, I would like to collect some info before I decide on coming to Colombo.

1) Average rents in Colombo for a 2-bedroom apt. Would Rs. 25,000 per month be reasonable ?
2) Expenses of maintaining a car, including loan/lease re-payments. Would Rs. 50,000 per month be reasonable ? I would not be doing too much of travel
3) General Living & Food expenses. Would Rs. 25,000 per month be reasonable. I am a non-vegetarian and a family of 3.

Any pointers would be welcome. I did not see much activity on this forum, but hoping that I would be lucky :-)
