Hello.

Brand new to this forum, currently "living" in Goa India.

But it's getting worse here now. big problems with visa's. So a smple question. Can we live in Sri Lanka.
We are a 62 yoa married copuple. Financially very stable and quite happy to invest in Sri Lanka. Can we get long term visa's. Where do we start.

Hi Willb,

I am not sure why you choose Sri Lanka. The ethnic violence in that country does not allow for peaceful lviing even in the high security capital.

I just happened to read another post in this forum. Check out the Philippinnes forum where some one from the US mentioned that he and his family are relocating to Manila and propose to set up a business a retreat kind of thing in a place they own and they are also looking for investors who can help build the cottages. Since you both are retired, and financially stable I guess it would be good for you to check out that option.
