If you know of any local Christmas or New Years events that would welcome other expats, please post details here.

A non pretentious New Years party- meant for those that wanna simply have a good time whilst meeting new folks and having a laugh. The 2000Rs covers the Ice, Mixers and the Food.. www.facebook.com/colombocityhostel
There are tons of other good parties in Colombo too- including the Hilton Playground Party and the Galle Face Hotel party.. but this is a non pretentious party for those that just simply wanna turn up and let loose.. I hear they may even go with a Beach Theme.
