Anyone give a accurate amount of manageable income needed per week living in Sri Lanka and convert to English pounds=to include rent,food,services etc=just basic living nothing fancy like eating out,running a motor vehicle

Hiya,
In response to your question.
When we were in SL earlier this year, before the sterling drop we were spending :-
About £200 on rent a month.
£30 on food shopping a week.
each meal out would be about £15.00 for two inc a couple of beers.
Obviously then you've also got daily expenses depending on what you're doing.
Entrance to the local hotel for swimming etc about £5 per couple.
If there is anything you would like to know in particular please contact me.
We are returning in a couple of weeks, and expect to pay more because of the exchange rate.
