" Hej everybody, Just found this website today and I think it''s great. Everyone is very caring and willing to help as much as possible. I''m Swedish, but I don''t speak the language(long story which I''m willing to tell you about later on), and I''m working in San Francisco... actually I ""was"" working until a week ago, when I got ""laid off"" due to the ""slowing economy."" My dilemma is that I have until August to get another job and get an H1 visa. Anyway, I''m looking at my options and one of them is to move to Sweden where my family is. Only one problem, and a big one at that, is I don''t speak the language. Does anyone know companies within Stockholm that hire english speaking job seekers? My work experience is limited, but it involved web development and online marketing. Thanks. Fredrik "

Sorry I dont have any help about a job for you but I am in the same position as you. I only speak English but I would like to get a job in Stolkholm to be with my girlfriend. So my idea was Ill email you if I come across something and you can help me out if you can. My experiance is in hotel and restaurant management.

" Hej ajdodson, I think that''s a great idea. I have one place you can look into, and that is Marcus Evans (www.marcusevans.com). My brother went to Sweden about a year and a half ago and he couldn''t find ANY job because he couldn''t speak the language. It took him 8 months to find a job and it is with Marcus Evans. It''s a telemarketing job but not in the sense as in the US where everyone hates telemarketers. With ME they are a global company and the telemarketers call people worldwide... something to do with event sites and hosting special events, or something like that. I think you''ll get a better idea if you go to their website. It doesn''t have much to do with hotel and restaurant management but at least you don''t have to speak Swedish. In fact, they want English speaking people. Anyway, if you think you''re interested in working there, I can give you my brother''s email address and you can discuss what he does there. As for me, I''m still trying to find a job in the US. I''m starting to think about working in Europe since I am Swedish, and being part of the EU, I don''t have to worry about a work permit as I do here in the US. Spain or Italy would be a cool place to work. Take Care. Fredrik "

" That would be great if you could give me your brothers email. My address is ajdmaui@yahoo. Iwould really appreciate it, it sounds exactly what i m looking for. Its pretty hard to get a job in the U.S. without the papers unless its a restaurant, other than that you need to marry an American girl. Spain doesnt sound too bad athough. Thanks,Andrew "
