Of course there are differences between my new culture and my native land, and mostly I enjoy the freshness of these differences. What helps the most is that I have a partner here, and she is working. What is hardest is that I have so much language to learn before I am fully employed. Its really about not having the security of a regular income that makes it most difficult. I remind myself that "this too will pass." Or as W. Churchill said, "When you are going thru Hell...keep going!" It is a beautiful country with very many wonderful people, increasingly multiethnic and full of life.
