to convert your qualifications, you need to contact Socialstyrelsen. You can find them on the internet . the website has all the details of how to do it . Basically you send them copies of your certificates , and they make a judgement about whether they will accept them , or whether you need to do extra training here in Sweden. It's a very frustrating , bureaucratic process, so be patient . It took me about 6 months to get all the relevant psaperwork together and get approved , and I'm from the EU. The process might be quicker for nurses though (I'm a psychologist )
