" We just moved to Zurich 2 weeks ago and have finally gotten a phone! We have 2 girls ages 6 and 3 1/2. We will be here through the end of July. Looking for advise on whether I should enroll the girls in some sort of school or info regarding playgroups etc. I plan to contact Amer. Women''s Club this week. Also if there is anyone in Zurich with children that want to play, contact me at [email protected]. Thank you. Carol "

" Hello Carol- My name is Carmen and I live in Stavanger, Norway. My family and I will be moving to Zurich in August as my husband has accepted a teaching position with the American International School of Zurich (he currently teaches here at the International School). We have two children as well - boys soon to be 6 years and 2 years. Are you moving at the end of July or just going on vacation? I am wondering how you went about finding a place to live. Do you mind my asking what you have found the cost to be for 3 bedroom apartments? Are you living in Zurich or outside? The school is in Kilchburg so we hope to find a place within easy public transportation commuting distance. I would really appreciate your sharing any re-location experiences that you have. Sorry we aren''t there yet to get the kids together to play:-( Carmen "
