" I am used to taking all sorts of adult education classes but now that I have moved to switzerland I am having a hard time finding any.... Am I looking in the wrong place? Can anyone advise me on where I can take classes like baking, sewing, art, etc. in the GE/VD area? Oh, I guess I should mention that I find the Ecole Migro to be lacking both in quantity but especially quality. Any advise? Thank you in advance. Maryanne in Nyon. "

" Hi Maryanne, Put yourself in the position of someone advertising for these courses. Where would you advertise.... Typically in the German sector they advertise with the local council (Gemeinde), community noticeboards at bus/train stops, shopping centres, churches, etc. You will need basic French skills to read some of these advertisements. mit freundlicher grüssen Allan "
