" Hi, we lived in Zurich for 1 year and are thinking of going back long term. The one major drawback for me is the local school hours and necessity of mothers to be at home all day to take kids to and from school and home for lunch. I have heard that this is changing - does anyone know of schools in Zurich that run all day, thus allowing mothers to go out and get a life?! "

Primary School or Elementary schools are very much profound in Zurich. Schools that are affiliated to universities have defined and high standard of teaching. You can find these methods mostly in International schools and honestly my friends who are parents too, they really appreciate the way their kids are been taught.

You can find international School list in various external sites. One of the school I always knew is
International School Zurich North
iszn.ch
