Hi. Could anybody give an estimate of how much do 2-bedroom, semi-furnished apartments cost in the following areas in Geneva (at least roughly)?

Route de Colex, Geneva
Chemin de la Begoudaz, Eysins
Route de Meyrin, 1203 Geneva
Avenue Lucerna 1203 Geneva
Rue de la Gollette, 1217 Meyrin
Rue de Lousanne, 1202 Geneva
Rue des Boutines 1217 Meyrin
Rue Cavour 1203 Geneva
Champs d'amier 1209 Geneva

I have heard stories that it is hard to look for a fair-rate apartment in these areas for its very high cost of living.

My colleague has just been detailed in Geneva to work near the UN headquarters area and will be leaving next month. She is yet to buy a car so she prefers renting an apartment strictly within any of the above-mentioned areas for easy access to her work district. I would appreciate any advise. Thanks!

Rents in Geneva are very high but the public transportation system is very good. As long as your friend is living anywhere within the main city area, transportation to work should not be an issue.
