Moving to Basel have three young kids

I am writing this for my wife with her email address as the reply. We have an opportunity to move to Basel in April 2006 and we would like to find some contacts in Basel with children to ask questions. We currently live in California and have tons of questions, most importantly quality of life for young children from a mothers perspective. Feel free to post or send me an email directly. Did you make it to Basel? We 'might' be moving this year. I realize this post is from 4 years ago, but I thought I would send a message anyway. I am going through the same thing; many questions of where, when, what, and how. Can you help?
