" Hi there everyone. I have heard that Taiwan is a very crowded and polluted place. Is this true? If so should we go and live there? We have the choice between Malaysia and Taiwan, which is the best choice? Any information on what it is like to live in Taiwan would be great. Thanks! Carolyn "

" Hello Carolyn, I''ve lived and worked in Taiwan for 4 years and my boyfriend for 9 years. We have both found it an absolutely rewarding experience which has enriched our lives. If your moving to Asia, in general, all countries are ""polluted"" & ""crowded"". That is Asia "" in general"" but Asia also has a lot to offer if you can get pass the initial shock and try to adapt to the country, culture, people, language, customs and so forth. Yes, Taiwan is very polluted compared to the USA & Europe. And yes, its crowded but it also depends on where you live i.e.: New York City vs. Omaha, Ne. or Taipei vs. Tainan. If you''d like, you can ask me more detailed questions regarding Taiwan at: mahalla71@hotmail.com. Kindest Regards, Sophie "
