Hi
I will be relocating to Taiwan as an expat status. But so far I don't have any clue about what I need to do in taiwan. Do i need to apply for a foreign worker permit with the Taiwan government ahead of time? Is there an agency or website that deals with this? Also, if my pay is paid by my U.S. company to my U.S. bank account, do I still need to pay any tax in Taiwan locally? If you have been through this and know the answer, please help me. Really appreciate it.
thanks
Dan

Hi,
Do you have a sponsor in Taiwan? You need to apply for a working visa before you can apply for a working permit. With these documents then you can apply for your Alien Resident Certificate. The cost to process these documents is US$1,400 for one person. US$300 for an ddditional family members. You can call me at 886-935970618 for additional information. I'm Martin Ku
