So you are Canadian too eh? LOL.

I am looking to move to Tz and I am a bit worried by the fact that I do not have a job there. However, I am considering starting a business there. I am a Professional Engineer, but have been running my own IT Company here in Toronto on the side. I develop websites and softwares.

What do you think of that? Do I have any hope?

Also, how is the housing for you? Do you need a roomie?

Hi Ken,
I was just browsing through the posts in Tanzania, and came across yours. I am also Canadian, currently living in Blantyre, Malawi and wanting to relocate to Tanzania within the next couple of months. I’m wondering how things are going there, and if you did wind up starting your own business. I am a business graduate and have been doing consulting work (marketing, management, analysis & evaluation, teaching business skills, etc.) in Blantyre for the past 7 months.
I’ve had a lot of different jobs with a wide ranging skill set. Wondering if you were looking for people to work with?

Hey there! Moving there with my hubby (he is from TZ) in May 2010. We run a non-profit in Bagamoyo but I will be working out of Dar (once I find a job). Meeting up with fellow Canadians would be great! Let me know how things have been for you! I love TZ and think it is the greatest place in the world.
