" I have visited Thailand twice on vacation and loved it, I''m now thinking about trying it out on a more permanent basis. It seems housing is not a problem in BKK, but what about work? I am an attorney and have extensive experience and contacts in entertainment here in Hollywood. I also have experience as an exec at an internet B2B company. Does anyone have any opinions as to the job market for a guy with my credentials? Any suggestions on how to look for positions for a guy like myself, would be most appreciated! Thanks. "

" David Getting started on your own is very doable but it is a pain. To stay here more than 90 days you must get a work permit, To get a work permit you have to have a job. there are several attorneys here working in thier own law firms. I can put you in touch with a couple. Please feel free to contact me directly and I will give you some names and some more suggestions. One first step is to get a 90 day non-immigrant ""b"" visa from the Thai Embassy in the U.S. b_w_keller@yahooo.com "
