I suggest go somewhere else if not into clubs and bars etc somewhere like Auckland NZ where it is nice and quiet. If you dont speak thai you will find it quite hard to meet thai women outside the obvious flesh pots maybe try the internet before you arrive. The standard of spoken English in thailand overall is relatively poor.

Proper girls would never touch a man, while bar girls will put their arms around you right away. At work, you might be frustrated with the laid-back attitude, although Thais educated abroad are very efficient. Other than that, Thailand is a fabulous country with great food, architecture, warm people and natural beauty (well, leave Bangkok out of that). If you like Mexico, most likely you''ll like Thailand.
