if you have a work permit you are expected to pay taxes on you salary in thailand. your employer will handle this for you; it will be deducted from your salary. there are certain allowances and the rate depends on your salary 0-100''000: 5% 100''000-500''000: 10% 500''000-1''000''000: 20% etc. the rates may have slightly changed
