41 y/o male relocating to Thailand...

I need feedback on some of the less expensive coastal communites (tropical beaches) to relocate to. I really want to live at the beach. I don't want to be in a high tourist area...and I don't want to be in an area that is completely dead either...so I'm looking for something kind of in between.

I'm also curious if I can bring my two dogs over with me. They are family members to me and I cannot see myself moving without them. Thank you for your help!

You might look at Cha Am near Hua Hin.

There are millions of dogs in the kingdom and I've never known anyone who had a problem bringing more.
