Not a direct answer, but I think you can get an account anywhere in Thailand and use https://transferwise.com

I have a credit union in Washington State where I have set up my direct deposit so there is no monthly fee. I also opened up a Bangkok Bank account and linked it to my credit union. There is no monthly fee for Bangkok Bank. I can send up to $2,000.00 USD per day at a fee of $3.00. The only hitch is it's SLOW. It can take up to a week to actually see the funds. Other than that, it's quite efficient and I can manage the transfer from my laptop.

Bangkok Bank will handle all the paper work for you.
I transfer money to them from USAA Bank. No fee from USAA but BKKBnk takes a bit. Also you can do a wire transfer from Everbank for 25 bucks which is a good option for larger amounts.
