Hi there. We are considering a move to koh lanta, we like the quiet chilled life. We were wondering about the cost of living. How cheap a rental is, & foid etc. We may also get part time work, but we understand it may be quiet out of season. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Hard to say what is cheap or expensive without knowing what you consider cheap or expensive. I recommend you do a web search for cost of living koh lanta and visit the Krabi forum at www..thaivisa.com as there are likely to be people there who live on the island or have been there many times.
